Interarchy 10 includes a number of default plug-ins. These are installed the first time you launch Interarchy.

Some people have reported the plug-ins missing. An empty menu is displayed when they click the Plug-in menu.

If your Plug-ins menu is empty you can download the missing plug-ins here.

To install a plug-in simply double-click it in the Finder. Interarchy will move it to the Interarchy Application Support folder and display it in the Plug-ins menu.

I am very proud to announce the release of Interarchy 10, the leading file transfer application for the Mac.

My favourite new feature is Interarchy's plug-in architecture. You can write your own commands and have them executed directly on the server. Download plug-ins written by others or develop your own. The possibilities are endless.

Download and explore the included plug-ins or visit the Interarchy Developer Center for more information on how to write your own plug-ins.

Interarchy 10's new plug-in architecture is built on top of a new file transfer protocol called iFTP (Interarchy File Transfer Protocol). This is an evolution of the SSH protocol included in Interarchy 9.

iFTP offers a number of advantages of incumbent protocols such as SFTP and FTP. Namely speed and flexibility. I recommend you try it. iFTP doesn't require you to install any special software on your servers, just SSH.

Other useful new features include support for Google Storage and Rackspace Cloud Files, Cover Flow and Quick Look for previewing remote files, speed improvements, easy-to-use Net Disks, and a refined user interface. Further details can be found on the Interarchy website.

Interarchy 10 is $49.95 for new users and can be purchased here. Owners of previous versions can purchase a discounted upgrade here.

A fully functional trial is available so if you’re not already using Interarchy you can try it here.
