Version 8.5 of the Interarchy Quicksilver plugin is now available. It will hopefully appear in Quicksilver’s list of plugins shortly but if you can’t wait you can download it from here.

The Interarchy Quicksilver plugin provides access to Interarchy Bookmarks and Net Disks. You can open Bookmarks; upload files and folder to Bookmarks; and mount, unmount, and sync Net Disks.

New to 8.5:

• Bookmarks and Net Disks are now available as children of Interarchy.
• A Run Bookmark action for running Bookmarks in the background. This is really useful for running Mirror Bookmarks from BBEdit or Textmate.
• Bookmarks Bar Bookmarks are now included too.

Amazon are changing the pricing for their Amazon S3 web service. Details can be found here and here.

The pricing structure is more complicated than before but it should mean a price reduction for most customers; it certainly will for both Nolobe and me personally.

Interarchy 8.5.1 is now available.

8.5.1 is a maintenance release. It fixes a number of reported issues and adds a few refinements. Detailed information on all the changes can be found here.

Interarchy 8.5.1 is a free upgrade for registered Interarchy 8 customers.

The transition from Stairways to Nolobe has, for the most part, been smooth. However, there have been a few issues and we are dealing with them as quickly as possible. Please be patient.

We just discovered the static IP address of our mail server is listed in the SORBS database as a dynamic IP address. This is not correct and may prevent you from receiving email from us. If you are expecting an email from us please be patient. We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.

As you have probably aware Nolobe has been formed and aquired all rights to Interarchy from Stairways Software. This is essentially an employee buyout. I have worked on Interarchy with Peter N Lewis for a long time.

Interarchy’s loyal customers need not have any concerns about this transition. Interarchy is in good hands. The same person that was working on Interarchy a year ago is still working on it today. All existing licenses will remain fully valid and you can expect to receive the same high level of support and software from Nolobe as you received from Stairways Software.

On a personal note I would like to thank Peter and Nikola for everything they have done for me. Six years ago they welcomed me into their home and made me a part of their family. Words can’t express how much they mean to me. It is going to be very hard not seeing them every day.
